Report on the Fourth Installation Session

The Rotaract Club of MGR E&T organized ‘the 4th Installation Session of the Rotaract Club of MGR E&T’ on 13 December 2021 in Anna Seminar Hall in the presence of Rtn. Sesha M Sai, District Rotaract Committee Chairman 2021-2022, Professor. Dr. S. Geetha Lakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. M.G.R Educational, and Research Institute, Dr. V.Cyril raj, additional registrar –admin, Dr.M.G.R. Educational and research institute, Dr. L. Ramesh, Joint registrar, Dr.M.G.R educational and research institute, Rtr. P.P Kamuvel, District Rotaract representative, Rtr. P.P. Dinesh Kumar, District Rotaract Secretary, Rtr. G. Arun, Youth Service Director, IPP Rtn. T.V.Radhakrishnan, Chairman Literacy, Rotary Club of Chennai, Mogappair, Rtn. Prabakar, Chairperson Special Project, Rotary Club of Chennai, Mogappair, Rtr. Gokulakrishnan, Group Rotaract Representative, Rotaract Group-12, and Ms.A.Thangam, faculty coordinator, Rotaract club of MGR E&T. The session commenced at 10.00 a.m with the Four-Way Test delivered by Rtr. Sai Sudharshan, Chief Sergeant-At-Arms, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T for the year 2020-2021. The welcome address was delivered by Rtr. IPP Nisha Shah, Rotaract club of MGR E&T For the year 2020–2021. The secretarial report was presented by Rtr. Shahul Hameed, Secretary, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T for the year 2020-2021. Followed by the Secretarial Report, Rtr. IPP Nisha Shah Invited and Introduced the Incoming President, Rtr. Sowmiya.S, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T to the gathering. With the presence of all the dignitaries, Rtr. Sai Sudharsan, Chief Secretary-At-Arms collars the Incoming President, Rtr. Sowmiya.S, and after that the Acceptance speech was delivered by Rtr. S. Sowmiya, the Incoming President of the Rotaract Club of MGR E&T, and the Secretaryship was transferred by Rtr. Shahul Hameed, by exchanging the Club Charter with Rtr. Natasha Bhaskar Shinde, Incoming Secretary, Rotaract club of MGR E&T. the announcement made by Rtr. Sowmiya.S, Rtr. Sai Sudharsan, Chief Sergeant-At-Arms, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T for the year 2020-2021, exchanged the Sergeant Staff and Sergeant Band with Rtr. A.S.G. Narayana, Incoming Chief Sergeant-At-Arms, and Rtr. Anand Mishra, Incoming Associate Sergeant-At-Arms, and after that Rtr. Sai Roopa, Treasurer, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T for the year 2020-2021, handed over the Club Accounts Binder to Rtr. R.Sathish Kumar, Incoming Club Treasurer. The Chief Guests for the session badged for all the New Incoming Officials of the Rotaract Club of MGR E&T. Followed by that, the Club Letterhead and the Club Standee was launched by the Chief Guests. With a warm welcome to the fellow dignitaries, Prof. Dr. S. Geethalakshmi, Vice-chancellor, Dr. M.G.R Educational, and Research Institute delivered a wonderful speech and advised students to gain exposure from the outside world. Followed by that, Rtr. Sesha M Sai, District Rotaract committee chairman, quoted that “Beautiful things in this world are unseen, so give people for your satisfaction and not to gain validation from others”, and encouraged the students to help those in need. and after that Dr. V. Cyril Raj, Addl. Registrar– Admin, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute explained how youngsters can utilize the Rotaract Organizations for the development of the Surroundings and P.P. Kamuvel, District Rotaract Representative, shared his life experiences and inspired students to do their best for Rotaract club And Dr. L. Ramesh, Joint Registrar- EPA, Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute addressed what youngsters can give back to society as a whole, and how they can communicate with fellow organizations and deliver to the masses. The Chief guests for the session felicitated the gathering on the dias. The Vote of Thanks for the session was delivered by Rtr. R. Devaprasad, Blood Donation Coordinator, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T. Finally, The program came to an end at 12.00 p.m with the gathering raising for National Anthem, and Rtr. Sowmiya.S, President, Rotaract Club of MGR E&T adjourned the 4th Installation Session of the Rotaract Club of MGR E&T.
