Faculty of Education feels elated to share the report of the second day workshop on ‘Research Ethics and Management of Resources’ held on 16. 12. 2021 at 2:00 p.m. scheduled for 3 days in collaboration with Stella Matutina College of Education. The session commenced with a congenial welcome note followed by the introduction of the resource person. The resource person of second day session on ‘Open Access Resources for Teaching, Learning and Research by Dr. J. Arumugam, Librarian, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore engrossed the participants with an intricate reflection on the open access e-books, e-journals, ETD, e-Thesis and Dissertations and open library. As Open Access (OA) publications reduce permission requirements and eliminate price barriers for readers for researchers, teachers, journalists, policy makers and the general public without a subscription and as it receives more citations than subscription publications the guest elaborated on Open Access publications. Best referencing tools was also listed to the participants and he also pointed out the tools that are available for the Qualitative and Quantitative Research. The session was a complete package on open access resources and tools for the demand of the current generation to access instantly.
