Faculty of Education feels happy to share the report of the Valedictory session of Deeksharambh- Student Induction Program organised on 20.11.2021 at 10.30am by an outstanding guest speaker, Dr. R. Kumudhini, Principal i/c, Mahalakshmi Women’s College of Arts and Science, Chennai. The resource person addressed all the passionate blooming teachers as “The Architectures of the Nation” and continued to speak about the different aspects of life and how a teacher needs to be an inspiration as it is the teachers who creates profession. The necessity of Introspection was discussed to provide clarity and importance of knowing and understanding ones true self. This develops fairness, empathy, compassion and sincerity which leads to reach the ultimate place in life. Stories and scenarios were discussed with the students to bring out better understanding about the importance of introspection that leads to confidence as a teacher and as a person.
“Teachers are the Catalyst of the Society”
Dr. R. Kumadhini continued by referring teachers as a“Catalyst” since every student follows the steps of a teacher because of the impression he/ she creates. A teacher should value herself first to value the qualities of others and needs to be smart to handle the students who belong to the smart technology world. She also advised the students to decide right during every opportunity provided. She concluded her speech by educating about the 7 types of people that one should avoid in life to improvise in all aspects of life, which was a major guide to be followed for all the budding teachers.

  2. Jealous
  3. Time wasters
  4. Money Grabbers
  5. Over – Sensitive
  6. Excuse makers.
  7. Mis educated.

The Resource person was certainly a foundation for all the emerging teachers to reach greater heights both in personally and professionally.The faculty expresses its gratitude to our honourable President for the motivation and inspiration and to all the executives for their continued support in all our endeavour.
