A Technology Talk on the topic “Brain mapping” was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Association with IEEE MGR Student Chapter on 07th October 2021. The Resource person was Dr.Sharmila, Education Psychologist, Motivational Speaker Behavior, Expert NLP Practitioner Wellness Healer .The Session commenced around 10.30 A.M. The session started with a welcome address delivered by Mr. J. Jayarajan,Dy HoD/EEE.
The speaker started with an introduction about brain mapping and the necessity of it. She explained about the connection between
finger prints and the brain, formation of finger prints for a baby in a womb and how finger prints related to brain mapping, types of intelligence and classification of these intelligence into 10 types based on the right and left hemispheres of the brain. The speaker also
elucidated on the classification of learning methods such as visual , auditory and kinesthetic.
She explained about the mistakes usually kids , teens and adult make while learning and also provided solutions for it such as art therapy, etc .
The Doctor informed about some of the skill development programs organized by them.
The session concluded with the Q & A session and the speaker cleared all the queries asked by the participants. The participants enjoyed the session as it was a very interactive and informative program. The program was held via Google Meet platform and offline mode with more than 90 students had participated.
