Warm greetings!

Faculty of Education is happy to share the event report of ‘Planting 101 Saplings’ in commemoration of Founder Chancellor’s Birthday celebration. 100 saplings of trees and medicinal plants were planted in the garden, park and Highways and the last sapling 101st was contributed by our honourable President and was planted in the main campus.

The ISR event on 24.9.2021 started at 10:00 a.m. The session was hosted by the second year B.Ed. students C.P. Priya and Gayatri. The virtual gathering was welcomed by Ms. Nisha. Dr.S. Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor on her Presidential address specified the importance of protecting the environment followed by the felicitation address by Dr.P.S. Rajakumar Dean, activities & program co-ordinator- NSS wished everyone on the day of NSS and appreciated the activities of Faculty of Education. Principal, Faculty of Education stated the importance of protecting the nature by planting trees and to stop encouraging deforestation. All the faculty members from the Faculty of Education addressed the audience by pointing out the importance of protecting the environment by planting more trees. Ms. Jancy through her poetical verses promoted the importance of planting saplings. Ranjana’s speech on environmental protection was followed by the poetry recitation written and recited by Mr Joel. The program came to an end with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Sruthi Meera.

We express our indepth gratitude to our honourable President Er. A.C.S. Arun Kumar for constantly supporting and motivating through out our endeavour. We also extend our thanks to all the executives for their continued support.
