The Department of Civil Engineering organized a Interdisciplinary Lecture on “Smart Materials and its Applications“ for II year, III year & Final year students on 23rd September 2021 via online forum. Dr. M. Manikandan, Assistant Prof, hosted the event. Dr. T. Kavitha, HOD, Civil Engineering Department extended her warm welcome Address to the II year, III year & Final year students and briefed them about the activities of the department. Mr. V. Priyadarshini, Asst Prof, introduced the Speaker of the day, Mr. N. Lakshminarayanan, Asst Prof in E.C, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute.
The speaker gave deep information about the Smart Materials and its Applications using a lot of live examples. It was an interactive session and so informative. The students gained a good knowledge about the Smart Materials and its Applications through the Interdisciplinary lecture. Dr. A.
